About the role

Anovaeon's The Religious Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and facilitating religious programming and services for individuals in an ICE processing facility.

We provide a range of professional services, including specialized facilities, customized logistics support, and direct care services.
Maintain an inclusive environment that supports individuals of diverse religious backgrounds.
Maintain respectful and confidential communication regarding residents' religious practices.
Compliance & Documentation Maintain documentation Ensure all religious programming complies with ICE detention standards, facility policies, and contractual requirements.
Support overall facility operations while maintaining sensitivity to residents' religious and cultural needs.
Special Projects & Operational Support Assist leadership with special projects related to resident services and quality improvement initiatives.
Support facility operations during emergency situations as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned to support mission success.

Required Qualifications & Core Competencies U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.
Two (2) years of experience coordinating religious services, faith-based programming, chaplaincy support, community outreach, or human services.

Experience working with culturally diverse populations.
Auditory ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, volunteers, and government personnel.

Interdepartmental Collaboration Collaborate with security, operations, medical, behavioral health, food services, and case management staff to facilitate religious accommodations.
Bachelor's degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education.
