Responsibilities

- We have a 35-year track record of developing multifamily communities with responsibility, accountability, and integrity.
- Serve as the design consultant project lead for multiple multifamily projects, overseeing all phases from schematic design to the start of construction administration.
- Direct the production of schematic design (SD), design development (DD), and construction documents (CD) to ensure they meet the highest standards of code compliance, design intent, quality, and accuracy.
- Utilize a kit of parts approach to architectural design, leveraging pre-approved components to streamline the design process and maximize efficiency.
- Utilize Autodesk ACC to review and comment on work created by junior architects and outsourced drafting teams on a weekly basis to ensure milestones are achieved through the design process.
- Also use Procore to review and comment on other design consultants' work, ensuring coordination milestones are met at the appropriate stages.
- Lead, teach and mentor a team of junior architects and outsourced drafting teams so that they learn the intricacies of relevant codes, multifamily architectural design principles and construction detailing requirements to ensure cohesive project deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with consultants (external and internal) and other project stakeholders to ensure coordinated and completed project delivery.
Skills
- This will involve being software proficient and open to learning new processes as the industry evolves.
- Uses approved enterprise AI tools (e.g., Claude Cowork, Microsoft Copilot) to draft, summarize, analyze, and accelerate everyday work.
