About the role

The corporate bond trader will be an integral member of the fixed income taxable bond investment team.
The taxable bond team consists of portfolio managers (PMs), research analysts and traders that work together to make informed investment decisions that benefit our shareholders.
Candidates for the position will possess exceptional corporate trading acumen, market knowledge, thought leadership, and communication skills.

This role will directly support our corporate bond market strategies across different investment teams.
Partner with PMs, research analysts and fellow traders to generate investment ideas that have positive impact on our investment performance.
Maintain strong dealer relationships (sales, trading, and syndicate).
Partner with technology, compliance, legal, operations, and other internal groups to provide best-in-class service and execution capabilities to the portfolios.

10+ years sell-side or buy-side experience trading corporate bonds and credit derivatives.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or other relevant quantitative subject area.
Must be team oriented.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a consistent focus on accuracy.
Ability to think creatively and independently while working in a collaborative environment.

Strong analytical ability along with excellent communication skills.
Aptitude for using new technologies to enhance our workflow, trading systems, and advance a quantitative approach where applicable.
