About the role
- In this role, you will focus on preparing fresh, high-quality items for our growing to-go food section during early morning hours.
- This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on kitchen work, takes pride in food presentation, and can accomplish work independently.
- Follow standardized recipes, portion control guidelines, and food safety protocols (FIFO rotation, proper labeling, temperature control).
Requirements
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in a kitchen setting with refrigeration and heat.
- Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in food preparation, kitchen, or deli roles preferred (restaurant, cafe, or grocery store experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain one is a plus).
