About the role

  • This position is located in Independence, MO.
  • ATP has two sites: located in Independence, MO and in McPherson, KS.
  • Our Independence site is based in an underground industrial complex customized for Fiberglass production.

Requirements

  • Employees must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods during scheduling meetings and floor coordination.
  • Ability to lift or move objects up to 15 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to visually review schedules, inventory data, production outputs on screen, and paper.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, materials management, production planning, or master scheduling within a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory control
  • Understand cost structures relating to components, labor, overhead, and finished goods
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations
  • Background in heavy manufacturing, transportation, rail, or engineered products
  • Experience leading SIOP / PSI or integrated planning processes
