Responsibilities
- Support ingestion of spreadsheet-based datasets into enterprise databases and applications
- Validate and troubleshoot data ingestion pipelines to ensure data integrity and operational accuracy
- Support integration of enterprise data into Pega workflows and applications serving as systems of record
- Collaborate with development and architecture teams to improve automation, scalability and maintainability of ingestion workflows
- Support troubleshooting, analysis and resolution of data-related operational issues
- Document data flows, interfaces, transformation logic and operational procedures
- Experience building or supporting ETL/data ingestion pipelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and five (5) years of related experience as a Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, Data Engineer or equivalent technical role.
- Ten (10) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Experience working with structured data formats including JSON, CSV and Excel-based datasets
- Experience supporting data ingestion, transformation or ETL-style workflows
- Experience writing automation scripts or utilities using Python or similar scripting languages
- Experience troubleshooting data quality and validation issues
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
- Ability to work across technical teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Must be able to work during core hours of M-F 10am-2pm.
- Experience supporting Pega applications or enterprise workflow platforms
Compensation
- The estimated salary range for this position is between $160,000-$210,000 (annualized USD).
