About the role
- Represent the JSC Safety & Test Operations in Test Readiness Reviews for hardware and human testing.
- Prepare and present safety recommendations to the JSC Safety & Test Operations Division.
- Development and review of facility and job hazard analysis.
Responsibilities
- Review test documentation and monitor select test operations in support of JSC programs.
- Mishap and close call investigations and support.
- Support of both JSC and company's Voluntary Protection Program (VVP) activities and initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
- Bachelor's degree in safety engineering, technology or industrial hygiene Bachelor's degree in any engineering field and one (1) year of professional safety engineering experience.
