Responsibilities

  • Under direction from the Alteration Manager, the Master Fitter/Tailor/ Sewer is responsible for producing high quality altered merchandise within established time frame standards while providing customer service, establishing and helping to maintain customer relationships and working effectively with other team members within the store.

Requirements

  • A proven thought leader with a quantifiable track record of success in delivering results within a large complex organization
  • Minimum 5 years fitting/tailoring experience in high-end merchandise

Nice to have

  • Pressing and spotting skills
  • Knowledge of Alterations industry including fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment that requires a degree of multi-tasking with limited supervision
  • Knowledge of pattern making and draping
  • Ability to take measurements and complete Made To Measure forms on all garment types
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Compensation

  • The starting hourly rate for this position is between [$31.55 - 39.44 per hour ].
