About the role
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, PSM, RMP, fire safety, environmental, and company safety standards.
- Oversee facility maintenance projects, including energy efficiency studies and capital improvement projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget.
- Ensure the safe and reliable operation of ammonia refrigeration systems and all facility infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- At Lineage, the world's largest temperature-controlled logistics company, you'll lead all maintenance operations within a high-performance cold storage facility.
- Manage all preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Review monthly utility usage, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement energy management initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support for future building improvements, automation projects, and facility optimization initiatives.
- We'll ask you for your opinion and ensure we do our part to keep you developing and engaged as we grow our business.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of maintenance leadership or facility maintenance management experience, including workforce planning and scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), Risk Management Plan (RMP), and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in extreme environments (-20°F to 100°F with PPE) and tolerate varying noise levels common in warehouse and cold storage operations.
- Ammonia refrigeration certifications required.

Nice to have
- Hands-on experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems (Freon refrigeration experience is a plus).
Compensation
- Partner with the General Manager to develop and manage annual maintenance budgets for labor, materials, utilities, and capital projects.
