About the role
- The team tackles challenging engineering problems ranging from electric vertical take-off platforms (EVTOL), to space tourism.
- Answer Engineering is a casual work environment where discussions take place in the open, events are frequent including company BBQs and ski trips, and our office remains stocked with a variety of snacks and beverage options.

Responsibilities
- Compose, develop, test, and support electrical and electronic systems used in UAVs and other aerospace platforms.
Nice to have
- Conduct failure analysis and troubleshooting
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with aerospace standards
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in power distribution systems, avionics interfaces, drone avionics, control electronics, and wire harnesses.
- Competence in using oscilloscope and soldering is necessary.
- Experience in Altium and Solidworks preferred
- RF experience preferred
Compensation
- The salary range for this position ranges from $116,000 to $175,000 depending on experience.
