About the role
- Timmons Group is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Project Engineer III to join our Land Development team in our Ashburn, VA office.
- The Project Engineer II/III will contribute to a wide range of land development projects including like K12 schools, higher education, data centers, fire stations and parks.
- Offers are based on a range of job-related factors such as internal equity, experience, skills, education, credentials and role complexity.
Responsibilities
- Performing engineering calculations and solving real-world design challenges.
- Preparing technical specifications and construction documents.
- Conducting research and writing objective reports to support project completion.
- Collaborating with clients, internal teams, and senior engineers to deliver high-quality results.

- We assist our clients with zoning entitlements, civil site plan approvals, and construction administration support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in land development engineering, including residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D required.
- The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
Nice to have
- EIT certification preferred.
Compensation
- Our best estimate of the salary range for this position is $87,000-$95,000.
