About the role

  • - Own the design, implementation, validation, and long ‑ term sustainment of manufacturing processes to ensure safe, repeatable, and cost ‑ effective production throughout the product lifecycle.
  • - Lead the design and optimization of production cells, tooling, fixtures, and test systems using advanced lean principles, error ‑ proofing, and flow optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the design, implementation, validation, and long ‑ term sustainment of manufacturing processes to ensure safe, repeatable, and cost ‑ effective production throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead the design and optimization of production cells, tooling, fixtures, and test systems using advanced lean principles, error ‑ proofing, and flow optimization.
  • Serve as a technical owner for complex sustaining issues, including MRBs, nonconformances, supplier escapes, production interruptions, and field feedback; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Lead high ‑ impact capital projects and strategic improvement initiatives from proposal through Release ‑ to ‑ Production, prioritizing based on ROI, capacity, quality, and sustainability.
  • Complete Role St andard Work and deliver all other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to lead by influence across cross ‑ functional teams, communicate effectively at all organizational levels, and bring structure to ambiguity.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to take ownership of manufacturing outcomes, not just engineering tasks, with accountability for process stability and performance.
  • Advanced problem ‑ solving skills with demonstrated experience leading complex root cause and corrective action efforts in production environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (Standard Work, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, error ‑ proofing ) and their practical application on the production floor.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial engineering or a related field with approximately 7 -10+ years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Required Skills/Abilities:

Skills

  • Advanced experience designing and improving production fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing layouts (NX or SolidWorks preferred).

Compensation

  • $100,000/yr - $120,000/yr
