About the role

  • Prepare and Teach Assigned Courses Prepare courses that align with program and institutional outcomes and include expected content that is appropriate to the level and type of course.
  • Evaluate and Advise Students Evaluate student achievement impartially and in accordance with college guidelines.
  • Provide regular, timely feedback that accurately measures achievement of the course learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching subject areas could include electrical systems, circuits, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, kinematics, manufacturing, machine design, heat transfer, mechatronics, computer design (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks), and design of systems.
  • Develop course syllabi that clearly outline course requirements, scope, and sequence.
  • Perform General Responsibilities

  • Mastery of subject matter (Required) (Inactive)
  • Ideal candidates must be born-again Christians and must be dedicated to training young people for serving God
  • An assessment may be required to be considered for this position.
  • Accredited terminal degree in teaching field
  • Support student success by maintaining regular office hours to advise students regarding course content, degree completion, and career preparation.

Compensation

  • Update courses annually through evaluation of student achievement, as well as input from students, academic administrators, curriculum committees, and benchmarking.
