About the role
- Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking a full-time Geotechnical Engineering Technician for our Raleigh, North Carolina office. Field and laboratory engineering technicians will work closely with our laboratory manager and professional engineers to ensure buildings in the Triad are constructed safely. In-house training and statewide to national
- level certification will be provided and readily available. This is a full-time position - Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Hourly rate depends on local market and results of candidate interview. - Become trained in a variety of American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards for soils, concrete, mortar, grout, and fireproofing depending on the needs of each project.
- You'll be trained in the testing specifications and laboratory processing procedures for each test by the laboratory manager.
