Responsibilities

  • The Commercial Electrical Lead will have a J ourneyman License, commercial experience, and will successfully manage the execution of commercial solar installation projects.
  • You will lead, train, and support a team of installers including overseeing work performance, and provide project status updates to the Director of Construction and/or Commercial Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring schematics, and electrical instructions
  • Ability to make field changes and communicate with Project Manager and Construction Manager
  • Ability to test voltages from 10V - 1000VDC / 120V - 480VAC
  • Ability to receive and distribute instructions
  • Ability to communicate problems to Project Manager
  • Ability to fly a DJI Phantom drone safely
  • 3+ years of commercial construction experience required.
  • Active Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician License Required.
  • Ability to travel 70% of the time and work varying shifts as needed to include weekends and overtime.
  • Valid Driver's License Required.

  • OSHA 10 required
  • OSHA 30 preferred.

Skills

  • Knowledge of local electrical codes
  • Knowledge of commercial PV design and components
  • Ensures that construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.
  • Ensures that crew members clock in and out daily to log work hours. Approve timecards weekly.
  • Monitors compliance by all employees under his/her supervision with all FSP policies.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
