About the role
- This role requires a deep understanding of both software development and IT operations, aiming to bridge gaps between systems, teams, and processes.
- Conduct systems analysis and evaluation to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of integrated systems solutions to support enterprise objectives.
- Develop and maintain robust automation workflows for software build, test, and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Architect and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development and operational activities.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and other IT teams to ensure seamless, high-quality software delivery.
- Provide expert guidance and support for DevOps tools and practices, facilitating knowledge sharing across teams.
- Manage and monitor integrated systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Lead root cause analysis for system issues and implement strategic solutions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years or more of related experience in systems integration and automation within a DevOps culture.
- Strong expertise in DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their management APIs.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- BI Requirement Current holder of a DHS Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one.
