- As an Animal Care Technician, you'll play an important role in making those connections happen.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate animal intake and support each animal's journey through the shelter.
- Maintain accurate records within our shelter management system.
- Support efficient front- and back-of-house shelter operations.
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure exceptional care and service.
- Every day presents new opportunities to solve problems, support families, and improve the lives of pets and people throughout Central Oregon.
- Support both pets and the people who love them.
Requirements
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.

- Previous experience in customer service, animal care, or shelter operations is helpful but not required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Compensation
- The compensation range for this position is $19.00-$25.69 per hour.
- Starting pay is determined based on qualifications, relevant experience, and internal equity.
