Responsibilities

  • Work effectively as a member of the Veterinary Technology department and collaborate with faculty, staff, program leadership, and external partners as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Three full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in veterinary medicine or technology.
  • The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
  • Current Minnesota license as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.), required to serve as DVM faculty for the Veterinary Technology Program.
  • Clinical expertise in veterinary surgical nursing, dentistry, anesthesia, diagnostic imaging, laboratory procedures, and patient care.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development, accreditation standards, program assessment, and continuous improvement.
