Responsibilities
- Can demonstrate working execution of master scheduling, inventory management and ability to lead workforce in support of initiatives.
- Strong team leadership, team building, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills
- Advanced problem-solving skills to analyze issues that may arise and create solutions.
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and lead.
- Manage rotating assets and finished goods inventories by establishing and monitoring kanbans and lead times based on manufacturing and supply chain capabilities and fluctuating market demands.
- Manage internal ordering and lineside stocking of direct material for all production lines simultaneously.
- Manage all shipping and receiving operations to align with plant targets and customer demands.
- Maintain LEAN/5S principles across entire plant supply chain (Inventory Control, Material Planning, Asset Management, Purchasing, Material Handling and Shipping/Receiving)
- Interact with Quality, Sourcing, Finance and Manufacturing to drive issue resolution.
- Take ownership of and lead projects for plantwide materials process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, from an accredited university or college, in Business Management, Operations, Engineering, or Technical Discipline
- At least 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, operations, or supply chain management position with an understanding of production and inventory control techniques and systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while having a high degree of attention to details.
- Meet customer schedules effectively through advanced planning and create ability to expedite shipments as required to meet deadlines.
