About the role
- This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 2-color and 4-color Halm high-speed envelope presses while ensuring quality, efficiency, and production goals are consistently met.
- The ideal candidate is a self-motivated printing professional with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a production setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot press-related issues
- Maintain production schedules while minimizing downtime and waste
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- Strong understanding of printing processes, ink systems, and press mechanics
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, bend, and stoop throughout the shift
- Experience in envelope printing or commercial print production
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Nice to have
- Previous experience operating Halm envelope presses preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
