About the role
- Acting as a key liaison between Finance, Human Resources, and IT, this role ensures the system meets business needs and operates efficiently.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies through system configuration and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Workday Financials modules, including Reporting, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Business Assets, Procurement, and Banking & Settlement.
- Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics within Workday.
- Manage system updates, releases, and testing cycles.
- Provide end-user support and training for Workday Financials features and processes.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements within Workday.
- The Workday Financials (FINS) Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of the Workday Financials system.
- include managing system updates, troubleshooting issues, and developing reports and dashboards to support financial operations.
- Configure and optimize Workday Financials functionality to meet evolving business requirements.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement system enhancements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience administering Workday Financials or similar ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Experience with Workday financial reporting modules.
- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Workday's financial modules, experience with integrations, and proficiency in Workday Prism and Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Familiarity with integration tools and data migration.
