Responsibilities

  • Creates a departmental cross training matrix and mentors assigned personnel. Deploys team members to both strategically and tactically engage in cross functional problem solving to improve production efficiency and product quality.
  • Ensures the organization accomplishes Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Cost performance objectives. When misses occur, develop a credible recovery plan with the team.
  • Review daily demand, production capacity and constraints, optimize production schedules, and manage the workflow through the shop. Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and other reporting on daily basis to drive performance in all assigned areas.
  • Organizes and proactively manages their team to ensure meeting production and delivery expectations while maximizing available labor, skills, knowledge, experience, and capabilities. Continued focus upon team cross training and skill diversity.

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree Engineering, manufacturing, business or related field required.
  • 5+ years direct experience in operations manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years Leadership and management experience.
  • Experience with vendor management, compliance and audit processes
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain for procurement or required tools and MRO, and planning delivery schedules to meet delivery schedules, quality standards while reducing overall lead time and cost.

Compensation

  • This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
