About the role
- As a Maintenance Manager, you will play a n important role in the oversight, management, and general upkeep of our property that meets or exceeds quality, service, and hospitality standards.

- Military experience at the rank of E-5 or above will be supervisory experience. - High School Diploma (or G.E.D.).
Responsibilities
- Provide professional growth and development; develop and communicate goals and objectives.
- Assist, guide and support supervisors with employee selection, review, evaluation and terminations.
- Maintain compliance with all Buckner policies, procedures and requirements. Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws and regulatory requirements.
- Requires ability to work with frequent interruptions and maintain flexibility; ability to deal with change appropriately.
- Requires ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.
- Requires ability to effectively manage personnel; requires administrative skills to include but not limited to staff selection, development, motivation, scheduling, and evaluation.
- Requires ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Requires proficient ability to exhibit detail-oriented skills necessary to understand and manage a wide-range of information.
Requirements
- attend and participate in staff meetings and training as required.
- Perform general office tasks as required.
- Perform special assignments, projects, and other duties as required.
- Associate's degree or an industry certification such as a Facility Management Certification, an industry certification is desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of prior related progressive experience in maintenance work required.
- Must be able to read engineering drawings and associated specifications.
- Proficient working knowledge of budgetary management and development of policies and procedures required.
- Requires ability to provide strategic and logistical planning and facilitate meetings, conferences, workshops, and retreats as required.
- Must be age 21 or older to drive on behalf of Buckner.
Compensation
- Assist Executive Director related to preparing annual budget requests.
