About the role

  • The job is further responsible for timely planning inventory control of material as assigned, and performing the following duties under minimal supervision, independent decision making in company policy framework.

  • Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related positions and a minimum of 10 years of directly related experience and/or training
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

  • Education and/or Experience
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Skills

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively with other employees of organization.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required.
  • Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/Kaizen
  • Knowledge of specific software (design, analysis, ERP…)
  • Ability to travel (domestically/internationally) approximately +/-10 ___%

  • Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
