About the role

Be the technical lead for a team in identifying customer requirements, analyzing, and evaluating multiple solutions, developing functional and physical architecture, verifying, and validating high-complexity systems.
This position will assign tasks to junior engineers and technicians to achieve the designs.
In this position, you will work on the project from kickoff to customer handover and will be supported by the design, development, and commissioning teams.

Lead and/or self-perform the execution of engineering activities.
Work with Engineering Manager and Project Managers to manage internal and external capacity to meet project milestones.
Perform quality review of work performed by assigned staff; identify, investigate, and resolve internal and external quality issues on projects.
Manage and control the generation, issuance, resolution, and close-out of requests for information, technical inquiry forms, and transmittals/submittals.
Participate in preparing proposals and scope development, including conceptual designs and execution plans, engineering/project cost estimates, and schedules.
Coordinate technical activities and designs with personnel in other disciplines and departments within the local office.
Provide short-term field support during construction.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other technical degree.
Proficiency with AutoCAD.

The Operational Technology Division is responsible for the engineering design and execution activities for SCADA, network, and controls on utility scale PV and Battery Storage power plants.
