About the role

  • Assists Recreation Therapist, in facilitating PACE Center-Based Participant Council Meetings to solicit advice and receive feedback.
  • Contributes to the development of the therapeutic activities program in the PACE Center.

Responsibilities

  • Provides guidance and support to PCAs around assisting participants with activities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates ability to conduct arts and crafts groups.
  • Demonstrates ability to conduct exercise groups.
  • Demonstrates ability to conduct cognitive activities such as current events and quiz games
  • Demonstrates the ability to conduct music groups
  • High School diploma required.

Nice to have

  • Nursing assistant certification a plus

Compensation

  • $22 up to $31 based on experience
