About the role
- Assists Recreation Therapist, in facilitating PACE Center-Based Participant Council Meetings to solicit advice and receive feedback.
- Contributes to the development of the therapeutic activities program in the PACE Center.
Responsibilities
- Provides guidance and support to PCAs around assisting participants with activities.
Requirements
- Demonstrates ability to conduct arts and crafts groups.
- Demonstrates ability to conduct exercise groups.
- Demonstrates ability to conduct cognitive activities such as current events and quiz games
- Demonstrates the ability to conduct music groups
- High School diploma required.
Nice to have
- Nursing assistant certification a plus
Compensation
- $22 up to $31 based on experience
