About the role
- We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team and contribute to the upkeep and functionality of our facility's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- The candidate will interface directly with the company's executives, property management staff, tenants, and outside vendors.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and cleans mechanical, electrical and shop areas.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other equipment.
- Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by property management/building engineer.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, repairs, and building-related emergencies.
- Collaborate with a team of technicians and engineers to achieve optimal building performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- As appropriate, records all pertinent data in building logbooks and makes all appropriate daily entries.
- Implement energy-saving measures and promote sustainable practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Adhere to safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards at all times.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems is beneficial.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent
- technical certification in a relevant field is a plus.
