Responsibilities

Drive Marketing Division priorities and ALSAC's strategic plan by identifying storytelling opportunities that educate, impact, and inspire audiences to action.
Collaborate to maximize audience-led storytelling across various online and offline channels.
Lead video content gathering through on-camera interviews with patients, families, staff, partners, volunteers, and other supporters, and write scripts as needed.
Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to lead and motivate a team while collaborating with various team members and stakeholders.
Collaborate with videographer/editor team members to concept, capture, and edit best-in-class content that showcases storytelling as a strategic asset.
Utilize innovative approaches focused on acceleration, efficiency, audience segments, and motivational insights to develop targeted video content.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, timelines, and deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of professional video storytelling experience.
Proficiency in non-linear editing.
Ability to connect with people on a human level, allowing them to share their stories authentically.
Thorough knowledge of English spelling and grammar.
Ability to understand complex verbal or written instructions.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Expert-level skills in conceptualizing ideas, writing scripts, conducting on-camera interviews, producing, and editing.
Clear and understandable verbal and written communication skills for internal and external relations.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive an automobile.
Availability for some night and weekend work, both in and out of town several times a year.
This position will be based at our National Executive Office in Memphis, TN

Nice to have

Working knowledge of Avid Media Composer is strongly preferred but not required.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects is preferred but not required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey ideas and feedback.
Compliance and Representation:
Maintain consistency with ALSAC/St. Jude brand guidelines.
Represent ALSAC-St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital positively in all areas.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust plans as needed and quickly address and resolve any issues that arise.
