About the role

  • Blue Energy is transforming how nuclear power gets built.
  • This cuts costs by over 60% and brings plants online in just three years.
  • We also pair natural gas with nuclear at our sites, so customers can start receiving power from gas turbines right away and then switch over to clean nuclear power once it comes online - getting energy to the grid faster while nuclear is being built.

Responsibilities

  • Stand up the plan, the owners, the timeline, and the reporting for these initiatives, then drive them to completion.
  • Propose and new cross-company initiatives, alongside the Chief of Staff, to help drive the business forward
  • Own the mechanics of the OKR process: setting, cascading, tracking, and reporting objectives and key results across teams.
  • Work with the Head of Strategy & Operations and the Chief of Staff to drive and support the operating rhythm of the business, the recurring cadence that keeps the company aligned and accountable.
  • Support board and investor preparation, pulling together the materials, metrics, and narrative that tell a clear story of progress.
  • Bring a continuous-improvement mindset to everything the business does, always thinking about how to make the operation better, whether that is building a chair from IKEA or running a monthly business review.
  • Identify friction, gaps, and bottlenecks across the company, and drive the rollout of new initiatives, measurements, and tools that make teams faster and sharper.
  • The right person for this role will be mission-driven, know how to motivate people and bring them along for the ride, and are most excited to see teammates improve and perform at their best!
  • Blue Energy is dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Be intentional about metrics, make sure we are measuring the right things, that the numbers are trustworthy, and that they drive decisions rather than just decorate slides.

  • Always be thinking about how to improve the operation of whatever you are working on, from community events to running your monthly business review.
