About the role
- This position is a good fit for someone who is eager to learn, asks questions, and wants to grow within a collaborative engineering team.
- This position reports both the Studio Director and the Director of Engineering, with day-to-day task assignments by the Mechanical Team Leader.
Requirements
- Must be self-motivated
- Ability to navigate construction sites at various stages of development, from early site work through project completion
- Flexibility to support project demands, including work outside typical office hours when required to meet schedules and client needs
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Internship or co-op experience is preferred
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
- Understanding of ductwork and piping sizing requirements and guidelines, including grille, register, and diffuser sizing and layout
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and apply feedback
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Autodesk Revit
- familiarity with AutoCAD
