About the role
- JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company.
- This role will focus on high-value targets and regional opportunities, while also collaborating closely with local Business Development Managers (BDMs) and cross-functional teams to align efforts with JAS' overall commercial strategy.
- SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES - No direct formal reports unless assigned.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with corporate goals, with a focus on securing and growing SILVER, GOLD, and PLATINUM-level accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key regional clients; develop and manage high-level relationships.
- Collaborate with Operations, Product, and Executive teams to ensure service delivery excellence and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of business development experience, ideally within international freight forwarding and logistics services, with a proven track record in regional or multi-market sales roles.
- Thorough knowledge of freight forwarding industry to include - air/ocean/imports/exports/customs brokerage operations.
- Strong leadership presence and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to travel frequently within the region.
- 5+ years of business development experience, ideally within international freight forwarding and logistics services.
- Experience selling in the regional market to include - CA, WA, AZ, CO, WY, ID, UT, MT, HI, and AK.

Compensation
- The base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $135,000 annually, in accordance with the California pay transparency law.
