Responsibilities
- Lead industrial design development from concept exploration through to manufacturing.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, marketing, UX/UI, CMF, and user research to deliver cohesive product experiences.
- Drive alignment across cross-functional teams (UX/UI, CMF, ME/EE, acoustics, PM, marketing) and clearly rationalize tradeoffs.
- Balance design intent with technical feasibility, cost, performance, and schedule constraints throughout development.
- Uphold design intent across development phases, ensuring a high level of craft, refinement, and design quality in final products.
- Create and communicate design intent through presentations, renderings, CAD, and prototypes.
- Delivering products through end-to-end development, including detailed design and production.
- Lead and manage industrial design deliverables for multiple projects at once, at varying phases of development.
- 10+ years of professional industrial design experience.
- You'll collaborate closely with design, engineering, marketing, product management, and manufacturing partners to deliver production-ready solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, KeyShot, and Siemens NX, SolidWorks, and/or Rhino.
- Strong design sensitivity with a high level of technical proficiency and attention to detail.
- Level will be determined based on experience and demonstrated proficiency.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
