Process Improvement
About the role
- Set up and operate crème, syrup, stripe and coating equipment
- Monitor and record weight, size, appearance, and texture of product with and without crème, syrup and coating
- Interact with and provide information to depositor operators, wrapper room personnel, plant engineering, and immediate supervisor to minimize downtime and waste
Responsibilities
- Adjust all machinery to maintain quality and product specifications
- Follow all prescribed standards to maintain product purity
- The primary function of the Line 405 Seasonal Crew (3rd Shift) is to support the Line 400 Unassigned Crew in producing Little Debbie Cosmic products to meet our peak seasonal demand.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a cohesive team environment
- Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN principles
- Complete required cleaning to maintain a sanitary work environment
Nice to have
- Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment
- Computer experience
- Excellent mechanical skills and/or previous technical training
- Set-up, changeover and troubleshooting ability
