About the role

Responsible for conducting audits of processes and procedures related to Quality and Waste Reduction.
Assists in the implementation and administration of quality control programs and monitors waste assessment initiatives as developed by the Quality Services Director.
Conducts various Research and Development tasks to ensure continued quality improvement.

Monitors programs designed to maintain/improve product quality.
Helps develop and implement projects designed to reduce waste of materials and/or time.

High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift.
Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 50 lbs. during the assigned shift - 1-25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to push/pull in a manufacturing environment up to 50 lbs to push during the assigned shift - up to 40 lbs frequently and up to 50 occasionally.
Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift.
Ability to bend, kneel/squat, twist/turn, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift.
Ability to work designated 12 hour shift including overtime as required.
Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
Ability to sit at workstation for extended periods of time
Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods of time
