Responsibilities
- Maintain a sanitary, orderly, and safe kitchen and dining environment.
- Prioritize, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Develop constructive relationships with co-workers, residents, and families.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Basic understanding of or ability to learn sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.
- Basic understanding of or ability to learn food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures.
- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently.
- Must be able to work well under pressure.

- Assist with menu planning, reviewing, and adjusting menus with Supervisor to accommodate foods in season, special events, and holidays.
- Alter or adapt meals to accommodate the special dietary needs of residents.
- Help with ordering, delivery, and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, as directed.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
