Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate and timely HPM financial statements and reporting packages.
- Perform monthly general ledger close processes, including account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews.
- Manage intercompany accounting, ensuring transactions are properly recorded.
- Monitor and reconcile corporate bank accounts and support treasury-related activities.
- Collaborate closely with Property Accounting to ensure intercompany billings are accurately recorded, and that Due From/To balances are reviewed and settled in a timely manner.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Nice to have
- corporate or property accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with consolidations and intercompany accounting strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems required
- experience with platforms such as Entrata, RealPage, or similar systems is a plus.

- Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems required; experience with platforms such as Entrata, RealPage, or similar systems is a plus.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment background screening.
Compensation
- Support the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
