About the role

Responsibilities
- Support general warehouse duties including housekeeping and material organization
- Perform shipping and receiving functions in accordance with procedures
- Support VMI operations across the region
- Maintain certifications and comply with WHMIS, TDG, site access and PPE standards
Requirements
- Ability to work safely, accurately, and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience, forklift certification, computer literacy and experience with RF scanning and bar-coding systems an asset
- Experience working in an industrial, unionized environment an asset
- Ability to pass site required screening
- Must have availability to all sites, no site bans
- This field position is on a 14x14 shift rotation based out of our Mildred Lake facility, working across multiple sites as required
- Physical ability to lift, carry and move materials safely
- Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position.
- Completion of Grade 12
- Team orientated with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Valid drivers licence with a successful drivers abstract and ability to drive F550 Flat Deck
- A condition of employment is the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing)
- Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement

- Finning is seeking a reliable and safety focused Material Supply Assistant (MSA) to support regional warehousing, inventory, and material handling activities.
- This role is responsible for parts movement, inventory support, and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) operations across multiple customer and internal locations.
- The successful candidate will contribute to efficient material flow, safe operations, and high service standards while working within the terms of the applicable collective agreement.
