About the role

  • These devices allow us to restore movement to the paralyzed, restore sight to the blind, and revolutionize how humans interact with their digital world.
  • The team operates at an in-house cleanroom facility in Fremont, with operations expanding to Austin in the near future.
  • As such, you will be instrumental in ramping production and accelerating Neuralink's progress.

Responsibilities

  • As a Microfabrication Technician (Second Shift) at Neuralink, you will be responsible for the production of our thin-film microelectrode arrays, collaborating with engineers to maintain equipment and processes within specification, and working to improve array throughput.
  • Ensuring product quality and conformance to design requirements

Requirements

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
  • Ability to work 6 pm to 2 am Monday through Friday, ending on Saturday morning
  • Testing the finished thin-film arrays to ensure that they meet the required specifications or standards

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working in a cleanroom or lab where precision is critical
  • Solid understanding of basic physics and engineering fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret, distill, and disseminate relevant technical information
  • Additional Requirements and Competencies:
  • Ability to lift and transfer up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to spend long periods standing and walking within a cleanroom environment
  • Ability to work 6 pm to 2 am, Monday through Friday

Compensation

  • At Neuralink, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package.
  • The anticipated hourly rate for this position is expected to be within the below range.
