About the role
- This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned service professional with prior industry experience and demonstrated success managing service operations.
Responsibilities
- People Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop a professional service team to achieve operational and customer service excellence.
- Coach, evaluate, and develop employees through structured performance management.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Prepare and deliver accurate service quotes in a timely manner.
- Sales & Growth Lead service-related sales initiatives and customer outreach efforts.
- Drive growth in service revenue through effective utilization of available service hours.
- Collaborate with sales and operations to identify growth opportunities.
- Department Management Analyze shop capacity, technician productivity, and customer demand to optimize performance.
- Maintain current knowledge of service bulletins, equipment updates, and industry best practices.
- Manage shop supplies, tools, and equipment while maintaining a clean, safe, and secure facility.
Requirements
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment as operationally required.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or GED required
- college degree preferred.
- Previous Service Manager experience required, with Industry experience strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience, with proven communication and people-management skills (additional experience preferred).
