About the role

  • This role involves working closely with internal teams to identify and resolve quality issues, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to all regulatory and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Quality inspections: Perform complex inspections and analyses of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished products to ensure compliance with RASIRC and customer requirements.
  • Data Analysis / SPC: Analyze test results, compare them against specifications for compliance, and document findings accurately and promptly.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities in the production process. Work with production, quality and engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Control of non-conforming materials: Identify, quarantine, document, and track non-conforming materials and products.
  • Maintain Equipment: Ensure all equipment is calibrated, maintained, and functioning correctly. Perform routine maintenance and arrange for repairs when necessary.
  • Work with production, quality and engineering teams to implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality control, laboratory environment, or equivalent military experience.
  • Prepare reports as required by the management.
  • Education: High school graduate (minimum)

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and process optimization techniques.
  • Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or related quality improvement methodologies as well as basic knowledge of statistics is a plus.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
