About the role

  • Day to day focus is on working to reduce Quality issues that impact manufacturing with efforts to achieve business results.
  • Work is performed in an Engine component plant environment where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is exercised, as well as a high level of independent judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day Quality needs of Manufacturing
  • Problem-solve (analyze data, determine root causes, develop implementation plans) and resolve issues which are affecting quality, assembly, or throughput
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Develop quality work instructions
  • Support the implementation and effective adherence to all elements within the Spring Hill Quality System

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience or Internal GM Candidate
  • Knowledge and ability to comfortably use computers and learn new software
  • The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment is critical for success in this role.
  • Must be available to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)

Nice to have

  • Previous experience as a Manufacturing Quality or Process Engineer
