About the role
- Oversee and coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments for multiple projects, ensuring vendors and carriers meet on-time delivery and quality expectations.
- Provide leadership and direction to the inside sales coordinator team in supporting field sales, service, and technical representatives, driving collaboration to achieve sales goals and strengthen customer relationships.
- Review and approve project documentation and order processes prior to execution, confirming accuracy, communicating deliverables, and aligning stakeholders on timelines.
Responsibilities
- The Lead Inside Sales Coordinator oversees the successful execution of multiple customer projects, ensuring the team's objectives are met efficiently and accurately with the project objectives.
- Maintain and report on open orders weekly, tracking project performance, delivery metrics, and workflow efficiency across the department.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to anticipate and solve problems, adapt to workload changes, and maintain high standards of accuracy and responsiveness.
- Drive departmental workflow management by monitoring priorities, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring timely accomplishment of project objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, operations, procurement, and sales teams to streamline communication, resolve issues, and enhance project delivery outcomes.
- Contribute to special projects and process improvements that optimize inside sales operations, strengthen customer satisfaction, and support organizational goals.
- Any combination of 3+ years in customer service, inside sales support and/or warehouse services in a position with increasing responsibility, to include demonstrated leadership/supervisory experience.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and procurement practices.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and promote ideas and transfer detailed knowledge to others.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (DOT, SOX) is a plus.

- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
