Responsibilities

  • Own community-level performance reporting: build and maintain dashboards in Power BI/Tableau/Claude tracking occupancy, leasing velocity, maintenance costs, and resident satisfaction
  • Support portfolio-level reviews to identify underperforming assets
  • Maintain and continuously improve data integrity across Yardi, Salesforce, and all reporting portals
  • Support community-specific asset management strategies to maximize occupancy, NOI, and resident retention
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and lead process improvement initiatives across the portfolio
  • Support portfolio-level reviews to identify underperforming assets; track corrective action plans
  • Champion resident engagement programs and community events to maintain high satisfaction scores and low turnover
  • Identify opportunities to design new and/or refine existing analyses and processes to improve the asset management team's productivity, accuracy, and efficiency over time
  • The Analyst, CAM drives day-to-day asset management across the Build-to-Rent (BTR) community portfolio.
  • The associate takes on direct accountability for strategy identification and implementation, KPI tracking, forecasting, and portfolio-level coordination while building toward future leadership responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and strong academic record in Finance, Economics, Quantitative Analytics, or related fields required
  • Strong experience working with large data sets and performing exploratory data analysis required

Nice to have

  • Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for market and corporate leadership, translating data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations

Skills

  • Experience with Python, R, Capital IQ, John Burns, Salesforce, and Yardi a plus
  • Expert-level Excel: pivot tables, financial modeling, variance analysis, and data visualization
  • Hands-on experience with Yardi and/or RealPage, including reporting and operational modules
  • High comfort adopting and evaluating new technologies; genuine curiosity for tech-enabled workflows
  • Analytical & Reporting Skills
  • Strong ability to synthesize large data sets into concise reports with actionable insights
  • Experience tracking KPIs including occupancy rates, leasing velocity, NPS, maintenance response times, and NOI drivers

Compensation

  • $67,875.00 - $117,650.00, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
  • Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
