About the role

The Associate HVAC Mechanic is an entry-to-mid-level position responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems with a primary focus on heat pumps and residential HVAC equipment.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance and a strong desire to grow within the trade while delivering high-quality service to military families.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $25.48 - $37.01 (presented in good faith).

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on heat pumps and associated HVAC equipment.
Maintain accurate digital and written records of maintenance performed, parts used, and equipment conditions.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment, with strong attention to resident safety and property protection.
This role supports the reliable operation and energy efficiency of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems serving military housing units.

Formal HVAC training from a trade or vocational school is preferred.
At least one (1) year of verifiable experience in HVAC maintenance and repair (residential or light commercial) preferred.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Demonstrated experience working on heat pumps is strongly preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration theory, and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.
Valid driver's license in good standing.
