About the role
- We are looking for a dependable person with handyman/carpenter skills that can complete various repair and maintenance tasks on our projects.
- Home repair & finishing job duties include painting, patching drywall, installing lvp flooring, carpentry, roofing repairs, siding repairs, basic prep & detail, and punch list repairs of newly installed pre-fabricated homes.
- Responsibilities may also involve solving basic electrical and plumbing issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in home improvement
- Clean driving record (required to drive company vehicle)
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in confined spaces or at heights when necessary
- Basic wood framing knowledge required
- Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively
Nice to have
- Previous experience working as an electrician, plumber, or carpenter is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED certificate preferred (but not required)
- Roofing experience is a plus
- Experience managing a team is a plus, but not required
Skills
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
