About the role
- Adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center and just one block from the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, the legendary Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino provides a fun, challenging and rewarding work atmosphere.
- General Summary Of Duties: The Count Room Member is responsible for the accurate counting, recording, and reconciling of all cash, coin, and other monetary items collected from gaming machines or revenue-generating areas.
- This position requires strict adherence to internal control procedures and a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed logs and reports related to all count room activities.
- Participate in audits and support investigations of variances or irregularities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the count room.
- Support fellow team members and supervisors as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to act independently.
- Ability to lift and carry coins, validator cans and cassettes weighing more or less 50 to 70lbs.
- Ability to comprehend and understand the English language to follow instructions from supervisor, inquiries/requests from guests and communicate with other employees.
- Ability to understand verbal English in case of emergency situations.
- Ability to operate electric cart, coin wrapper, push cart, coin counter, scale, and computer to complete daily count.
