About the role
- The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the operation, maintenance, service, and repair of equipment as assigned.
- This person is also responsible for participating in the preventative maintenance program, handling guest or residents' requests and other work orders as assigned.
- They are also responsible for performing the job in a safe and efficient manner and performing trade jobs, such as carpentry, painting, etc., as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Perform repair and preventative maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, laundry equipment, exhaust fans, vacuum, and other equipment throughout the hotel
- Maintain the maintenance area or department in a clean and orderly state, to include cleaning, inspection, and inventory of tools, parts, and supplies
- Manage differing personalities within the property, the resort, and the community
Requirements
- The ability to use tablets, iPads, and computers
- Ability to work long hours if needed
- Maintain the highest degree of confidentiality
