About the role
- HB Studios is a driving force in the creation of sports video games and the studio behind PGA TOUR 2K Golf - presently working on Console and PC.
- We have an opportunity for a 3D Animator to join our team of developers, creators, and fans, who are passionate about the art and process involved in video game development.
- Location & Relocation This position is based in Nova Scotia.
Nice to have
- Animate props using rigging and constraint systems.
- Hand-key facial rigs and polish facial mocap data.
- Respond to direction with an open mind and an eagerness to refine character animation to ensure the highest quality and best fit for the game.
- Typically, 2 to 4+ years of industry experience in 3D animation.
- A solid understanding of human body mechanics and locomotion.
- Proven technical proficiency with Maya or MotionBuilder.
- Experience working with motion capture data and modern game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal, or proprietary engines).
- Familiarity with source control software (Perforce or Git).
