  • This is a highly visible, high-impact role requiring a communications professional with an established track record of supporting C-suite executives at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Executive Voice & Brand Stewardship: Establish and maintain a consistent, authoritative voice for the CEO across all communication channels.
  • Develop and codify tone, messaging frameworks, and narrative guidelines that ensure coherence and authenticity across internal, external, and industry-facing communications.
  • Executive Presence & Event Experience: Own the CEO's presence at all internal and external events in close partnership with the Senior Director, Corporate Brand Activation.
  • Ensure the CEO's message is expressed not only through spoken remarks but across every experiential touchpoint - including video production, presentation visuals, and event staging elements - to deliver a cohesive, on-brand executive experience at every appearance.
  • Evaluate and prioritize engagement opportunities in alignment with business objectives, develop compelling submissions and positioning materials, and ensure full preparation - including briefing documents, talking points, and rehearsal support - for all appearances.
  • Communications Integration & Narrative Alignment: Own the full spectrum of CEO communications - spanning internal, external, and industry audiences - ensuring consistent, strategically aligned messaging across all channels.
  • Develop forward-looking messaging that shapes the narrative proactively, working in close partnership with the VP of Communications to ensure alignment with the broader communications strategy.
  • Own the CEO's presence at all internal and external events in close partnership with the Senior Director, Corporate Brand Activation.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to internalize and authentically represent an executive's voice, perspective, and communication style
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex strategic priorities into clear, compelling narratives
  • Sound judgment and the discretion required to operate with a high degree of trust and confidentiality at the executive level
  • Candidates must be comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-moving environment and available to travel as business needs demand.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in executive or corporate communications, with a substantial portion dedicated to direct C-suite support
  • Demonstrated history of managing CEO or senior executive communications programs within complex, matrixed organizations
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities across a broad range of formats and audiences, with a portfolio reflecting consistent quality and range
  • Proficient in using AI tools to scale communications deliverables, such as briefing docs, talking points or op eds written the executive's voice.
  • Travel: This role requires regular travel. You will be expected to attend speaking engagements, industry conferences, and key company events alongside the CEO throughout the year. Candidates must be comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-moving environment and available to travel as business needs demand.
