About the role
- Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings (electronic/mechanical schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g., multi-meter, laptop)
- Follow appropriate safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment (Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash, etc.) and ensure a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards.
- Willing to work overtime and cover multiple shifts, when needed
Responsibilities
- Performs preventive maintenance, repairs and cleaning on equipment (e.g., pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, etc.) and shop according to safety and quality procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and follow up with customer on resolutions
- Your expertise and dedication will drive customer satisfaction and contribute to the success of our service operations.
- In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our service operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and support the growth of our business by ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Mechanical and/or Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
- Shift work may be required
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in Engineering or a related field
Nice to have
- Experience with PLC's is a plus
